was out in town the other day when i was asked 'how you doing'?
so i replied feeling a bit rough the doc's just increased my nmedication
the response
well maybe it's time you CAME OFF the medication you have to have a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was so taken aback
if i came off my medication--i like so many of us---would not have a life--- we wound not be able to move let alone leave the house

Come off the medication  no way ... imagine the joint damage!! Aren't there some fools about? Do you suppose they think the doctor is prescribing for the sheer hell of it? Idiots  !! Lyn x

I cannot believe the stupidity of some people, do they think the doctors give out this medication for the fun of it................ Some people should just keep their opinions to themselves. It takes all sorts.  Lorna xx

A stupid comment from a stupid person.
I did read somewhere on the internet (tried to find it last night but couldn't) of how people who have cancer and diabetes that don't like having to take their medication are encouraged by all their family and friends to take it, yet us with RA are encouraged to stop taking it and try something natural.
But I suppose we can understand why can't we.................after all we've only got ARTHRITIS!!!!!!!

I have been thinking about this one, I feel people like this lack decent manners as their comments are plainly rude and no doubt would talk in such fashion on many issues mainly because they have little between the ears and have delusions of intelligence. They are really not worth the time of day, and just think yourself lucky you have little to do with them.

Well of course, I'm sure these people know best, and by stopping all meds we will get cured by not taking anything!!!! how logical, why didnt I think of that????!!!! BARBARA

Totally, totally ignorant, speaking about something they havn't a clue about. Thats why I hardly mentioned I have RA to anyone apart from close family and friends.
